Gratitude Trek In The Sierra Mountains
August 21 - 24, 2018
You wake up in a peaceful mountain setting, coffee in hand, looking out over a panorama of wildflower meadows, pristine lakes and the beautiful Sierra Mountains. No email. No smartphone. No internet. Just relaxation, adventure, good people, and delicious food.
Albert Einstein once said:
"What would our lives look like if we all looked deep into nature more often?"
At this moment, you know exactly what he meant.
Introducing The First Ever Unplugged Gratitude Trek
Do you feel like you never have a moment to yourself to relax and focus on what's really important to you? Do you spend more time checking email and social media than doing things that make you happy? Sometimes you just need to slow down, disconnect and take time to be grateful. So dust off your hiking boots and join us for this multi-day trekking experience where you will enjoy unforgettable moments of true adventure and unplugged connection.
Our Gratitude Trek is 4 days and 3 nights in the beautiful Sierra Mountains, deep in the wilderness, away from any technology, work and day to day stress.
Experience A True Life Transformation
The Gratitude Trek will help you put life into perspective. You will begin to see a shift in your attitude, and the way you view things. You will go back home with a new appreciation for what you do have in your life.
For 4 days and 3 nights, we'll be hiking through spectacular scenery, completely unplugged and away from the stresses and demands of our normal life.
Out in the wilderness, it’s always best to go with those in the know. We will be teaming with local experts to make sure we have an incredible experience. Our local guides will set up camp for us each night, including putting up our tents, providing us with latrines and a backcountry kitchen for good old fashioned cooking.
This is a full service trip, complete with 3 gourmet mountain meals per day. Just bring your personal items, sleeping bags and daypack. Your gear is carried by pack mules, so you can enjoy the journey without all of the heavy lifting.
Day 1 is a 6 mile hike to Rush Creek which is in Ansel Adams Wilderness. Ansel Adams Wilderness is dotted with sparkling lakes, sculpted gorges and beautiful snow capped peaks. We will set up camp there the first night and have a delicious home cooked meal.
Day 2 will be to Marie Meadows, up to the John Muir Trail. The John Muir Trail passes through what many backpackers say is the finest mountain scenery in the United States. This is a land of 13,000-foot and 14,000-foot peaks, of lakes in the thousands, and of canyons and granite cliffs. The John Muir Trail is also a land blessed with the mildest, sunniest climate of any major mountain range in the world.
Day 3 we’ll be hiking over Donahue Pass, descending into Lyell Canyon into Yosemite National Park. Lyell Canyon is a sub-alpine meadow in Yosemite National Park south of Tuolumne Meadows and offers spectacular scenery.
Day 4, we’ll hike to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park. Tuolumne Meadows is a gentle, dome-studded, sub-alpine meadowy area along the Tuolumne River in the eastern section of Yosemite National Park. Our final 12 miles of hiking will be relatively easy, on flat terrain.
Hiking adventure, 3 gourmet mountain meals per day, tents, camp set up, local guides, pack mules, self-discovery coaching.
What’s Not Included
